São Miguel, Azores
It’s already the middle of March, but there’s still patches of snow in my garden. Spring tends to come late to Toronto. So, for now, here’s some photographs from trips of years past that make me long for the green of São Miguel.

Beautiful pix. But keep them to yourself, this is one of the most beautiful places on earth and the last thing it needs is tourist hordes !
I can’t wait to return to the Azores. I want to do all the islands by hitchhiking onto boats…

I, too, want to see all the islands one day! Thanks to social media, the Azores have already been discovered as a tourist destination of choice, so my modest display of photographs simply confirm what the rest of the world has already discovered. Glad to share them here on the blog.

Now you’re just giving me saudades for the Azores, Emanuel! I’ve been there a number of years in mid-March for conferences, and always enjoyed how it was full-on Spring there already.

Emanuel, estão nos meus planos a curto prazo conseguir ir visitar as ilhas dos Açores e da Madeira. Tenho amigos de infância que moram nos Açores e vejo-a como uma ilha ainda carregada de natureza e boas sensações. Natureza é algo que me inspira, pelo menos a mim. Ver estas suas fotos belissimas, ao acordar, trazem-me um sentimento calmo.
