Achada, São Miguel, Açores
This agapanthus was still mostly in bud in May, 2017 when I came upon it on my walk down to the ocean from the village of Achada. Since then, so much has changed in the world, and in my life, and I wonder if that road still looks the same now. I am looking forward to walking it again this coming May, 2026 and hope that the agapanthus will be there to greet me.
I hope the agapanthus is there to greet you in May.

Hi Emanuel,
A lovely memory from 2017. I am happy that you will re-visit the Azores this coming May. My wish is that the visit will live up to all of your expectations. Blessings. Carol

Hi again Emanuel, I just looked up the agapanthus plant to see the blossom. What an elegant and vivacious blossom it produces. And the vibrant blue colours are gorgeous. I hope she greets you in May. Cheers.

Now that is something to look forward too! Besides the agapanthus, that looks like a beautiful place. Having said that I have a few agapanthus flowering in my garden. They are stunning flowers.
